Hi peeps,
Good to see you again!
So what have I been up to? Well! My friend Sue and I decided it had been far too long since we had a craftin session together, way back in January in fact for her birthday so we decided a little me/us time was in order as neither had created anything just for ourselves or for the fun of it for ages.
So a play date was set up! The dog walked and the kettle on and off we went...
We started by scarping some PaperArtsy fresco paints over a canvas with an old credit card, mine was all abstract and messy like while Sue's was more subtle and controlled LOL.
Sue had some new PaperArtsy JOFY stamps that she needed to ink up so they came along on the play date too.
Although we used pretty much the same stash we managed to produce very different final artwork, you can see Sue's HERE. Just awesome!
we had a lovely session and I look forward to the next. Here's my finished piece in various guises..

Now when you have a number of weddings to attend in close proximity that means you have a number of anniversary cards at the same time too LOL....
And there's another one next month...
Now sometimes you just have to take photos of things that make you smile and this is one of those quirky moments when I just had to stop the car get out and take a pic whether people round thought I was bonkers or not who cares!! LOL
Dandelions growing in the kerbside, they ran almost the length of the road and just looked really bright and carefree, much better than double yellows anyway.
So that's me done for now, thanks for stopping by and leave a comment if you fancy.
Happy Craftin
Rebecca
Well done! I'm proud of you. Your finished canvas is fab as are your cards. Love the dandelions they made me smile too when I saw your photo. See you soon. xx
